We offer only the best wire for demanding power applications.
This 12 AWG wire is rated for 8 min continuous 80 Amps with 10mph x 80degF air flow, and 120 Amp burst rating for 5 seconds provided the average current (including the bursts) is not more than 80 Amps.
RC Power-Flex 12 AWG wire is 0.18 inches OD, all of the 690+ copper strands are tin coated, it has high temperature silicone insulation, it is extremely flexible, easy to solder, high current capacity, and high temperature rating for today’s extreme RC electric applications.
The current carrying capacity of wire depends on many factors like; wire length, air temperature, amount of air movement, quality of solder joints, and how long the current flows through the wire.

With all the fine strands the amp capability goes way up, super flexible, not stiff at all. The insulation must be high temp resistant, Soldering did not affect it at all. I bought both the 12 and the 10AWG wire. The 12 is more than enough for most loads. Don't forget to order black like I did, I had to mark it black so no one could confuse the negative section the way I wired it. My safety plug sits behind the cockpit, underneath. Most place do not stock any wire close to this in quality, or flexibility.
