We offer only the best wire for demanding power applications.
This 10 AWG wire is rated for 8 min continuous 130 Amps with 10mph x 80degF air flow, and 200 Amp burst rating for 5 seconds provided the average current (including the bursts) is not more than 80 Amps.
RC Power-Flex 10 AWG wire is 0.22 inches OD, all of the 1100+ copper strands are tin coated, it has high temperature silicone insulation, it is extremely flexible, easy to solder, high current capacity, and high temperature rating for today’s extreme RC electric applications.
The current carrying capacity of wire depends on many factors like; wire length, air temperature, amount of air movement, quality of solder joints, and how long the current flows through the wire.

I bought this wire to add an extension to an automotive portable air compressor. The first extension I made would get very hot during compress use. This wire get just warm to the touch. Would have liked 4 to 5 feet, but can get by with the 3 foot length.
SharpRC response:
The wire is rated for RC use and not for other uses like your compressor. The difference is that RC use is by nature intermittent in that you can't fly a battery powered plane for a long period of time. The "off" time allows the wires to cool down between flights.
